As much as digger can carry (8) ?U?*?F?L the * is expected to be either D or L Thanks for all your suggestions, puzzle not yet completed though. someone wanted to know the clue for DorL this is, No warmth in distant loch (8) I'm looking at coolness or coldness. The letters so far for the clue Occupant of home one lives in (5-8) O?N?R?*???I?R. The * i have a C for, this i'm slightly unsure about. Clue. Of tuff or another porous rock (9) T?F?*?O?S , the * is where i have C, for answer Tufaceous, although in my dictionary it is spelt with 2 f's. For someone elses query the orginal clue is typed correctly. Still got visitor until after lunch, so apologies if don't reply sooner. |

Gloryer, Gloryer, wherefore art thou Gloryer? If it had that many letters Bucketful would fit. I do lean more towards the Manual rather than the Mechanical digger. So any ideas about the owner occupier having a P instead of U? |

Donna, The 4th letter of the second word needs to be P if Spadeful is going to fit. *PS we'd better hurry cos Miss might be back at any moment to see if we've done our homework.* Lol |
