Hello all you lovely (poor cold) Australians, I have a friend who left for her holiday in Oz yesterday, should be landing very soon. No wonder she said the one thing we could be sure of, was that they wouldn't be getting a sun tan! didn't realise it was quite so cold. Suex |

Hi Mel, yes the Barossa is lovely but Mclaren Vale has some lovely restaurants and winery's too next time you venture down South, we go to Sydney as my son lives in Wombarra and we love going to the blue mountains. |

Hi Butterfly no we don't sell them, just love them, grown them mostly from cuttings, we have five acres and have had open gardens before. They are lovely when they are all in flower on the terraces. |

Hi All, I live in 'sunny' Q'Lnd and I know I shouldn't complain but I want the summer, I'm fed up with being cold. You do get used to the heat so a day of 21 degrees is a bit parky and then in Winter the temp. drops so quick, once the sun goes down it's cold! Jillx |

I'd just like to add to all this that i'm really upset that we have to suffer both the cold weather here and the complaints about the heat in the uk. ok... i'm sure a trade is possible and would be well accepted love yvette |

Hi butterfly (blonde) yes I am in Adelaide well one hour south in a small country town called Strathalbyn, still cool but at least not raining today and my almond trees are flowering and I have jonquils and daffodills out, even a rose or two. |

Hi Yvonne, I think you are right, I was born in the UK so I must have been born with the thick stuff but after 30 years in OZ it now must be as thin as water. Last summer we had a few days in a row of about 43 and even a 47deg day, that was the day the power went down aaaahhhhhhh. I am complaining though I do prefer the warmer weather. Cya Mel |

~~~~~~~~~~waves to Mel. I think your blood gets thicker when you live in cooler climates :) But out your way gets awfully hot in Summer. I'm not fond of heat. One or two days of 39 - 40 and I'm a grease spot. lol Vonny |
Hi Yvonne, Gee Canberra is cold today when I watched the weather this morning I shivered at the thought of 10 deg. I am here in Sydney, near the Blue Mountains and it's 13 cloudy and trying hard to rain. I am finding it hard to move away from the fire bbbrrrr Right now I wish I was in the UK, 34 sounds beautiful.
