I have been off the boards now for 9 months as I am not interested in doing my family tree any more. But I still read the threads and get a lot of enjoyment out of reading them However today I see that a lady on here is trying to find some people in my tree and so to be able to answer her I renewed my membership although I still do not want to research my family. The question I would like feedback on is would it be ok sometime to answer threads .........if not thats ok and I will still sit quiet in the background please let me have what you think Linda

What is the use of a discussion board if we don't discuss? Welcome back Linda

Every paying member is free to and most welcome to add threads, and to answer threads Cant think of a reason why you feel you need to ask permision to do so, you being a member for so long. Enjoy posting again Elaine x Ps there are many members who have finished doing their tree who post on here and some who have just joined with no intention of doing any tree lol !

I haven't done any serious research on my tree for Yonks, seem to spend ages looking for folks for others though! You're a member , you have paid you dues, no-one says you have to add to your tree- it isnt compulsory !! jess

My thoughts echo Jess's - it isn't a requirement of membership to be actively researching your tree, so welcome back!!!
