He has launched an appeal to increase his £12 a week state handout to £55 a week so that he can buy more stamps to reply to the sackful of love letters he gets each week. He also wants to be able to buy 'luxuries' including books and magazines. Why is he getting £12 a week in the first place though?

So it seems you can murder 13 women and get free board and lodging plus pocket money.

Sadly every prisoner gets an 'allowance' for being in prison..... it obviously isn't enough that they are fed, watered and have gyms etc to amuse them!! Prisoners these days lead a better life than alot of the population!! xx

Please lets get this right he is not in Prison, he’s in Hospital, kill people plead insane you get put into hospital and treat you as a patient not a prisoner, so they molly coddle you and give you £12 and sacks full of letters from other insane people, and tell you that you have rights, and support you to claim tax payers money, so you can still continue to be the Sick Person you were when you killed innocent defenceless women and write to other people as Sick as You. Cos being in Hospital you don’t have a quality of life, Well neither do them Women or their Families so let him Rot in Hell without any outside contact, Lil

Can you imagine how the average pensioner would feel with £55 to spare on luxuries each week - they might even be able to afford heating during the winter and be able to buy Christmas and Birthday presents for their grandchildren, not to mention food !!!

Ruth Report 28 Jul 2006 12:31

So agree with Fred and Trish, I know what I would do with him. How these prisoners who have committed such awful crimes think they should get these luxuries is beyond me. It is us tax payers who are paying for this.

Can't help thinking that it is OUR fault for voting in Namby Pamby , Bleeding Heart do gooders to be our MPs'. I heard 1 MP say on Television that if they the politicians listened to the electorate then they would have to reduce immigration, throw out illegal immigrants, bring back capital punishment, hand out stiffer jail sentences for rape and murder..........etc etc etc.... and that was just not on. What do others think. JJH Sorry Trish, didn't mean to hijack your thread just absolutely boiling at this idea of Sutcliffe's. JJH

a sack full of love letters each week!!!!!!!! That is ridiculous. If these women love him so much why dont they send him the money for him to reply and treat himself to luxuries........

Germaine Report 28 Jul 2006 15:20

I know what he does want and it isn't £55 a week. What angers me also is the truly sick people don't always get the care they should. Germaine x
