Thank you all and special thanks to Devily for putting my birthday out there in the memory of the lovely June , I am in Far Nth Queensland again as we travel there every year to get away from the cold of Victoria and it's only since coming up here that I get to have a warm sunny birthday. For all who don't know they had a category Five Cyclone up here a few months ago, some of the damage has been repaired and I believe we will be even getting Aussie bananas back soon as they have been scarce on the ground since most of the crop was wiped out by Larry the cyclone we usually live on them while we are here so have missed the beautiful fresh ones straight from the farms, the damage to the houses and the business's are finally starting to be fixed roofs were blown off and they had 72 days of tropical deluge rain after the Cyclone we hope by being here we are helping the local economy along as there are not as many Grey Nomads as we are called on the road up as far as here this year which we believe is because of the huge petrol expense involved. the weather is still being affected up here they are experiencing a lot more rain in what is supposed to be the dry season but the warmth is lovely about 27c each day . once again thank you all and I will be certainly trying to have a nice birthday and you have started it of love Lara xx |

Hi Lara, hope you have a great birthday and some warmth too. I have a relative in S.E. Queensland, how would the weather be for her right now? I know she wasn't near the cyclone a while back. Hi Purple Poinsetta , I think if your friend is in Brisbane they are having nice weather too My SIL at the moment is in a place called Mooloolaba on the Sunshine Coast just nth. of Brisbane and it was 27c there yesterday as well I guess you may even be in bed by now so goodnight sleep tight love Lara |
