Ooops!! then it speeded up!! ... :-)

Following my report to GR about their clock being slow, and their reply thanking me for my interest in the site and saying that it would be passed to the technical team, I have just sent this to them:- Also, please would you ask the technical team, or whoever is responsible for it, to sort out the slowness of GR. My internet connection is 8.1 Mbps, and that is fast. Unfortunately, GR speed is very slow and I gave up on it just now. One can press refresh only so many times. The site is very, very slow. I may not visit it again today. Others have reported the slowness, too. Many thanks, Joy

I mentioned this the other night but it only seemed to be happening to me, but since then others have had the same problem. It is more than infuriating, and I am sure it discourages people from using the site. This needs sorting out now. Liz

Sally they use 3 servers so depending on which server your on and how many are using it.........slow fast slow...........ect Sxx

If that is the case Steve, why are some of us are having no trouble, and some are experiencing a go slow........

Hi all GR needs to purchase more bandwidth and update to new servers, they are still using the same ones that they used when this site first started. The Adds are loaded from a seperate server owned by another company Sxx

It could be something to do with ads, because I only ever have the little one one the right saying We Need You, want to be on ItV? etc........I think Norton blocks the others......
