Oasis Lived in the next Avenue, their Dad was a builder so was mine so they worked on jobs together and drank in the same pub, Both Boys went the school next to mine, their other brother is mates with my cousin and my son was over the moon when he went to their Mum's house. They were little so and so back then too, but funny. LIL |

I forgot about, Ali Basitian who plays becca in Hollyoaks and Stuart Manning who plays Russ in Hollyoaks, both from round here and I know them. Stuart worked with me for a while. |

Well - Letitia Dean from eastenders has a house just up the road from me - her mum still lives there. Fraser Hinds from Emmerdale also lives in villiage about 5 miles from me. I went to school with Rebecca Nagan - one of the voices from Rosie and Jim and also several other Cbeebies characters - ask your kids or grandkids. Also Andrew Linford - played gay simon in Eastenders - Tiffanys brother - lives local and of course Nasty Nick Bateman from BB1 lives in city. |

One member of Mud lived in the next road to me. There were quite often fans camped outside his house. I remember 2 in particular, a German woman and her daughter, who used to fly over regularly just to catch a glimpe of him! I remember the police moved them on once or twice. I wish I could remember his name though! LOL Sue xx |

Max Wall lived round the corner - quite a grumpy old man. Don't know if anyone remembers him. Sat in the local pub with a pint of guiness. Desmond tutu did a stint a our local church. Boy George went to a secondary school near us. What a combination! Selena |

Michael Aspel lived in the house next door many years ago.... John Humphrys (Master Mind Presenter) also lived across the Road and now we have Brian Hibbard living here --who was in the group Picketty Witch and acts on tv he's just been in Emmerdale. |

Well not in my street but Brian Cox the actor comes from Dundee, in fact he was friends with my husband at school. I was told by my husband that when Brian was due to leave school within a few months. Staff came up from the Job centre to find out what type of work the leavers were considering, Brian Cox said he wanted to be an Actor, and was told wouldn't you be better with an apprenticeship. Wonder what that person from the Job Centre is doing now!! |
