Oh Lindy you have made me laugh BUT I do sympathise. But you say you will be 53 soon and too old for a wrap around scarf - come on girl I too am large and will be 59 in a few months and I walk around the house in a wrap around - too hot for anything else!! Remember you are never too old - why should the young be the only ones to wear flimsy see thro stuff - got it fllaunt it that's my motto!!! Mary in Spain

Lindy, I just feel for you, and can't stop smiling! I'm 53 and large and just couldn't imagine being in that situation, but, at least you have a nice sarong thing. I'm not sure about wearing his pants, would they have fitted? You won't forget that trip in a hurry. Suexx

UPDATED Apologies for not getting back to my own thread but I have the painters in and besides making an unholy mess they are breaking things. Thank you for your support and comments, I showed the thread to Vitor and he reluctantly agrees that he was in the wrong, however, I think that he only capitulated in order to bring the mishap to closure. He was very grateful for young Daniel 's comments. In reply to a few questions asked..... Catherine, The silent treatment would not work. Being a man of few words he is very happy to sit in silence. ;-)) Dorothy G, He is six inches taller then I am, long in body but I have longer legs. Most likely I would not been able to zip up his denims but that is a minor detail that I would have gotten around somehow. Louisa, I shall have a look at your thread...;-) Ang, Better the Devil you know then the Devil you don't...;-) Shirley, I have a very forgiving nature but a memory like an elephant. Sally, The colors would definitely go with his skin tone as he has the Mediterranean complexion. The next time we go away I shall definitely take a rolled up pair of trousers in my bag for me and a bright red THONG for OH. Mary, When I am alone at home I do the housework in one of my old costumes, I have plenty of them as they never last more then two years, something to do with the saltwater pool.....;-), but I would never walk around like that in the front garden. Sue, I do not have the sarong thingy. I left it behind on purpose as I do not want to be reminded of my embarrassing trip. I would have made his jeans fit. Maggy, We are planning another trip to Brazil in two years time, this time to the south so I shall have plenty of time to think of something. ;-) Lindy who has an unholy mess to clean in the lounge and a glass cabinet to repack. Have a nice day! ;-))))))))))))

Hello Bob, long time no chat ;-) A quote straight from the horse's mouth. ' Under no circumstances would I wear woman's clothing, rather be seen in ripped pants, showing underwear and rump ' Lindy ;-)))))))))))))))))))))))

Just looooooove the red thong idea............and you're right, most colours are shown to their best against an olive complexion.......apart from olive green that is, then he might disappear altogether!...........for defo be packing spare clothes on my holiday........
