many many goldfish that seemed to like jumping out of their bowl. The first dog we had was called Bingo

We had a couple of guinea pigs, called Pinky & Perky, but one got stolen and the other died 2 days later (broken heart?), and a 'family' cat called Korky, who became 'mine' because I was the person he savaged least - although I still have a scar!! I was about 2 and remember catching flies and feeding them to him. He was put down when we returned to England when I was 5. maggie

OMG I had a rabbit called Snowy;; he was lovely all white , had him a while then was told he had died ;; next day we had stew ;; I said nice meat , then dad said oh good it was snowy;;; Never ate rabbit since then;; I had forgotten about that as not many peep eat Rabbit now;;; Babs

Its a long time ago but i remember the cocker spaniel we had when I was a kid. she was an all black girl with long ears that mum used to peg up so she could eat her food cos her ears would dangle in her bowls otherwise. We called her Betty altho her kennel name was Lady Betty Lou of Sian. We had her for ten years until one day the stupid bin men left the back garden gate open and she was on heat and she went!!. We looked everywhere,even phoned battersea dogs home in case ,but she was never found. Shirley

Our dog was a Peke called Peter he was a lovely old thing. He had been my Nana's but he got old and she couldn't be bothered with him. My first dog of my very own was a pup off the dog my brother had she was called Cindy she was born just after my 6th birthday and I was 21 when she died my real best friend. Germaine x

A kitten geniously called (by me at 5) Fluffy!

'Brick' the Cat. He was called this because he was the only surviving member of his litter. All the rest of them were put in a sack with a brick, and thrown in a pond.

My first animals that were around long before I was born were a dog called Judy who was supposed to be a x jack russell but was more like a barrell and a vicious cat called Nicky. I still have the scars from that one!!! Carol x

My first pet (that I remember) was a fox terrier called rex. He was a good dog as he bit my brothers bum

A cat called Cat! I was very young! ;-))

Alsation dog called Rebel, mum and dad had him before I was born and he died when I was five. The dog I have now is also called Rebel. Marie: )
