Wonder what would happen if nobody worried??? Would it also mean that we stopped caring what happened to ourselves and other people??? I have often wondered, think I will now spend today worrying about it Dee (Sorry Len I am in a contrary mood) |

My mum was just as you say you are Christine, one who worried if she had nothing to worry about! I used to be very anxious too, but as time goes on I am less so, I think. I saw that it made my mum very unhappy so am trying not to worry about things I can do little about anyway. I wrote her out a message once, it said 'Today is the tomorrow you worried about yesterday, and all is well.' That quote from the Bible is spot on!! Liz |

I am a worrier and can become very anxious. However, since my Dad has been diagnosed with dementia I have consciously worked at it because we were told that people with anxious, worrying personalities often become affected with dementia. My Dad was a prime candidate and I am worried lol that I am too. Susan |

Unfortunately yes and like Christine OH says I worry if I have nothing to worry about. His solution is that if there is a problem and you can do something about it - then do it - if you cannot - then what is achieved by worrying? I believe that Virgos are worriers - I come into that category but then so does husband - I reckon he was born early as he does not in any way fit the stereotype of a Virgo but I do. Ann |

Jen is right - I always say 'Ignorance is Bliss' lol I don't worry as much as I used to, at least not about day to day things - my life has chopped and changed so much that I've come to realise that you just never know what's around the corner, so you may as well just chill out and enjoy the here and now. When it comes to someone being ill - especially my dogs - then it's a different story and I get really stressed out. I think it's because I'm a bit of a control freak and I feel so helpless when someone's ill. Kaye x |

I am a worrier, I think it's because I'm a perfectionist. I set myself impossibly high standards. whatever I do, I put my heart and soul into it. OH keeps reminding me I am not superhuman. |
