Bryan, I do so agree, it is one of my all time favourites. Also there was another of those silent films Ronnie Barker did about a posh family who had rather a lot to drink with dinner and breakfast the next morning was so funny. They ate cereal which sounded like the 1812 overture because of their hangovers!! It always make me laugh just to think about it. Ronnie Barker is sadly missed. Sue |

oh, i remember that sue, and i think ronnie barker did a silent sketch involving ' removal men ' but i could be wrong. i do remember the phantom raspberry blower though. bryan. |

thanks everyone for your replies. if you and your partner ever fancy doing a ' party piece ' at xmas etc, just re-inact this sketch, and you will have a lot of fun :o) bryan. |

Does anyone remember the Julie Walters sketch where she plays a doddery old waitress .....a la Mrs. Overall .......she comes out to Celia Imrie and the one who plays the plumber in the Dinnerladies.........she takes the order......soup.......writes it down........one soup, and another soup.......goes away.....slowly and comes back thumbs in the soup, spilling it all over......and so on........how Celia Imrie & the fella keep straight faces, I don't know......... |
