Hi All, Thanks for all your mesages of support for my specialist appointment today. Basically the result is no change, which I was a little disappointed with. However it hasn't got any worse either, so that's good. That's my POSITIVE streak coming out there!! My dose of chemo tablets is now doubled to 2 a day, and I have to go back in 2 weeks to make sure that I'm ok on that sort of dose, and see if things have started to improve. Fingers crossed :-) PP xx |

Hi Pauline. That may not have been the news you wanted, but like you say, being positive, things haven't got any worse. My friend is currently having chemo and when they did a scan after 3 months treatment they discovered the c had spread. So they changed the chemo. Apparently there are several different types they can use. So, stay positive and keep your chin up. My mate is! AL |
