I have aged terribly in the last year. Five years ago, friends always used to say I looked ten years younger, than my actual age. Now I feel my age and my memory is diabolical, that it's frightening really. But funnily enough at nearly 52yrs, I do not have a single grey hair. Well when the roots come through I cannot see any. Lol. Jenny. x

Hi Sue, having met you just a few weeks ago, I will dispute you saying you look fifty. I would have put you at late thirties, early forties. I don't think any of us have an acurate opinion of how we look. I think it was Burns who said something about seeing ourselves as others see us, wasn't it? Vivienne xx

Looking younger than we are has always been a trait of my faily. My Dad is 80, but doesn't look older than 70. My sister is nearly 50, but only looks about 40. When I was younger I had terrible trouble getting into pubs etc, and needed to carry id till I was about 22. However I think its caught up with me the last few years, and I'd say I look my age now, complete with grey hair at the temples... I can also say that I was NOT amused when I girl my brother in law and I were talking to in the pool on holiday (note: talking to, not chatting up lol) said she thought we were in our 40s and that I was the older (I'm 36 he's 37).

i certainly dont act my age (45) more like a 10 year old at times, but im sure its the fun and games and daftness that keeps me young but bodily, over the last 2 years ive aged, put weight on, got some laughter lines (not wrinkles) and havent got as much stamina but i feel goodinside and thats all that matters to me xxLynnxx

I think I probably look younger than I am. I've been told that enough times to think that it can't always be flattery. My Dad didn't start to go grey until he was 65 and I seem to be following that. On the downside I was almost 30 before people stopped asking my age in pubs. Gwynne
