Make sure you buy more than one pair of shoes so you can have a choice on the morning ;-) You never know the heel, on one shoe, might break and you'll need a replacement pair immediately lol |

*rushes in and throws herself on the sofa* It was H***, I tell you. So many people getting in my way. Today I was looking for the 'it's a bit chilly and it might rain outfit' I already have the 'it's a bit chilly but it won't rain' - a (boucle) knitted (long) skirt suit in black with thin cream vertical stripes, the jacket is long and doesn't fasten, just sort of hangs. To be worn with a cream Victorian-style blouse. (both from a little boutique of my acquaintance) and the 'it's a lovely day and it won't rain' - a dark red silk broomstick skirt with a matching long cotton jacket. (from East) to be worn with the blouse mentioned above. and today I got a 'safe' mixed weather outfit from Per Una. It's a black trouser suit with very long jacket. To be worn wirh a pale purple ruffled blouse from Monsoon (in the sale). I have some nearly new pirate boots that I may wear but I also wanted some shiny new black shoes (or maybe purple). Faith let me down very badly. Nothing caught my eye at all. *sigh* I was tired and hungry so I came home. Looks like I'll have to go to Birmingham next week in search of the perfect shoe - and matching bag, and maybe a scarf. The city was full of screaming children being dragged round by stroppy women. I need a drink. Gwynne |

honest I wasn't one of those mothers dragging them around, lado requested a trip to Toys r us to spend the money he earned by selling his stuff on ebay. Like his style knows what he wants straight to correct aisle and straight to checkout and home to play with it. Any excuse for another trip out eh. Now you just put them aching feet up and relax. |

Sharon and I were discussing Per Una yesterday We went shopping in Leicester), and who would buy their clothes (which frankly she isn't that keen on now, they were nice when they first launched, but aren't her cup of tea now). Now we know. |

lol, I still like a lot of Per Una stuff. They had a nice line in BoHo chic for the summer. I love their jeans as well. Their 'regular line' is a bit too pedestrian for me normally, but I was looking for 'safe and won't embarrassed newly graduated PhD'. My feet hurt, Gwynne |

your feet hurt ? does that mean you'll be making a move towards 'comfortable' shoes now ? lol NB I agree about M&S's clothing, in general, especially the menswear which is still aimed firmly at the over 60s market it would seem. |
