Have any of you any tips on how to walk in stilettos? lol I bought my first pair yesterday in a long long time. The shop assistant suggested I should practice at home lol and OH remarked that the 'frankenstein look' isn't really in this year I am off to wedding this weekend so don't have long to practice!! Any advice gratefully accepted !!! Kaz in a totter :o))))

Hi, Lean backwards slightly and walk from the hip. Put the whole foot down not the heel first. Gwynne

Shurrup Joanie Thanks Em Gwynne - OK have got them on they have no strap at back so i keep wobblin but my hips seem to go backwards and to be honest bum sticks out far enough anyway! I will keep practisin - oh lawdy

put a heavy book on yer head and say as you walk...' the rain in spain stays mainly on the donkeys' ( er... thats wrong isnt it....)

Also beware of grids in the church and any wet grass. Otherwise, just walk normally with your head held high. AL

oh yes.. and take a pair of flatties for later on for the evening do... by then your feet will probably be crippled in stilettos... and you wont be able to dance... or walk... ( personal experience here) ouch :((
