Well done!! I tried to stop ***many*** times .... the last time that I smoked a cigarette was in 1992. I think you have my email address? Happy to give you support any time you'd like to make contact.

I stopped 1 Sept last year - take it a day at a time and pay yourself the money you would have spent on ciggies and hide it. Save it up for treats - I am still doing this - OH thinks it is funny but I refer to it as my mad money or my smoking Bonus!! Still crave one now and then - but good luck anyway. Ann

TJ You should be so proud of yourself, give yourself a huge pat on the back. Wait until you can smell things for real, I used to think people were talking cr*p when they said that - but now I can smell a smoker or someone who is smoking a mile off lol. Well done.. Debs x

Well done and remember it gets easier as time goes by. I gave up on New Years Eve and have managed to stick to it, with a few 'glitches' to be honest! However, I don't long for one like I used to and even the pub is not the danger zone it was..... Well worth it as have saved a fortune and don't smell like an old ashtray anymore :) Keep it up......

41 hours and still clean - yes - but I can smell the stale stuff in the curtains etc. Could do with 10 washing machines to keep up with washing!!!!!! Could just do with OH quitting now!!! Wishful thinking!!

Well done T.J. I gave up on 13th March this year. At first I felt lousy, tired, hot flushes increased and mouth ulcers but that passed off after a few days. I still have a 'plastic ciggie' but only put a cartridge in every few days. Recently we went away for the weekend and I got talking to a lady who gave up smoking 6 years ago but she still likes her pretend ciggie. If I am honest I still would like a real one sometime but I am determined not to succumb. Good luck love and keep at it. bye Margaret
