We put it on when we came back from Lanzarote but have the thermostat set to 19 degrees. It goes off at 10.30am and comes on again about 3.30 but the rads are cold at the moment because the sun is shining in the house. Ann Glos

Way down here in the far south east corner, I think we have our own mini climate. It's been quite mild most days, - a bit autumny first thing in the morning but it soon warms up. I can't stand the cold so believe me the heating would go on, but 'No', it's not too bad yet. Gwyn

Lynda Report 3 Oct 2006 17:07

I don't care how 'poncy' it is. Here in Mid Wales it can get very chilly round the willy, so the heat is on baby. Hubby and I are on that many tablets with one thing and another, our blood is thinner than water. Icicles form on nose when I go out to feed cats and guinea pigs, so have to have to a warm house. Er no...this is first year we have had central heating and we can't quite bring ourselves to fire it up. However, we did put the gas fire on for half an hour last Wednesday while watching WDYTYA. Sheila
