Hi Ann I haven't been here much myself of late. I think, like me, that a lot of people have been on holidays and generally enjoying the summer. It's lovely to see you though:) Chrissie x |

Brian do you mean you are going to Lanzarote? The weather started to change a bit the last two days, still very hot during the day but cooler in the evening and the wind came up. The rest of the time only a slight breeze. We get a double whack as we go to Tenerife in November for two weeks. Thanks all, good to see I was missed anyway. got lots to catch up on and have not unpacked properly yet, already done 2 loads of washing as while we were away daughter hubby and one grandson stayed the weekend to visit the Malvern show so we had the sheets, towels to wash as well as holiday clothes, families, don't you love them? Donna, yes we had a great time. My ears weren't burning, maybe because we were in the air and out of 'radio' contact!!! Hope you are OK? Ann Glos |

I am glad you enjoyed your hols but couldn't you have brought some sun back with you, this weather in England is awful, it is now raingin again in Norwich. I am trying to book somewhere for Nov 4th onwards, and have been looking at Lanzarote or Gran Canaria, anyone recommend somewhere quietish, nice scenery, nice restaurants and beach within walking distance, and loads of sun of course? Like to go self catering so I can laze around in the mornings if I need to while oh can feed himself and disappear for a while. Liz |

Lanzarote should still be warm in November although it may be a bit windy. Quietish is not Perto Del Carmen, Costa Teguise is nice as is Playa Blanca, lots of self catering places. We go to one called Sands beach Villas. Ann Glos |
