Hi Sunshine Hope you well. Been looking around there are a lot of kits for dolls houses on ebay also a good mag to buy you might find something in there is the Hobbies annual you can order it on line or from the paper shop. my first one was from teh Hobbies but then OH found out it was cheaper to buy the wood and use a plan. Depends how good you are with a saw lol. Still got to start my kit determined to make one myself. Germaine xx

hi sharon. i'v alway's wanted to make my own,along with making all the furniture...it's just something that i have been interested in for many years but never got round to doing it,wouln't bye one as it would take the pleasure out of making it,but that does'nt mean i would'nt be interested in buying a few.as i think they are so lovely. gwyn xx

Yes Covlass I have 3 an Edwardian, a thatched cottage and a pub. Still a lot of work to do on them Hubby made mine has doen a few the last one being the best ( practice makes perfect) was for the girl next door hoped she wouldn't want it but yes she did. Got myself a kit to make a cottage but haven't got round to it yet Germaine x

We love ours I have a victorian one which Im at present doing the roof in individual tile !! it's taking ages, both my daughter have victorian houses, the youngest daughters house was made by our freiend he made it slimmer than normal ones so it hangs on her wall! our freind sells his houses in kit form they are stunning., his wife does 1/12 scale knitting and I make curtains, bedding and rag rugs. Its a fab hobbie I love it so hello to all fellow dolls house nutts Sharon X

They all sound nice Did do myself a nice garden witha big lake but our Joe decided to have a go at it. my own fault I will let him at them went in one day I thought OM Word said Joe what have you done He told me they ahd an earth quake. Oh well he will grow out of it.lolYes it is a great hobby Real tiles on the roof I keep looking at those . I bought the wool and patterns to knit Oh bought alsorts will do it all sometime. Have made the curtains and decorated them myself, but the fingers aren't as nimble as they used to be. I have drawers of stuff to do . Germaine x

Gwy dolls houses threads are always a pleasure to read. Will help any time. Cold long nights are on way so I'll be doing lots now, must admit don't get to do much in the summer Oh well at that note I'm off to do my roof! Sharonx
