Putting one of these on my Christmas list. I started a Memory book a few years ago. It's a super idea and makes the whole FamilyHistory thing more personal. Thanks for the link

Hi Debi Well thanks for the link! Just wish my parents or grandparents were still around! Anyway, I've ordered the memories one for myself and my work colleagues wanted to see what I was ordering so we've ended up ordering 7! Had an email and she says I'm the best customer so far - I've replied and confessed they're not all for me! Have also told her I found out about it on here. Unfortunately, I've already bought my Christmas presents otherwise I'd have bought more but I've saved it in my favourites for birthdays etc. Thanks again Debby

Tracy - I just hope I've done her more good than harm as she is a small business. She had a small little write up in one of the family history mags we're all so found of at the beginning of the year - so I bookmarked her web site there and then knowing I'd go back to it for Christmas - so glad I did 'cos the books are first rate LLC - sounds like a fantastic idea - I wonder if one could be brought somewhere? Debs - thanks for the PM I know you'll love them as much as I did. I even bought the little box of thoughts for my grown up nephews & neice. Much happiness Debi

Hi, i ordered one and she asked me where i had heard about this and this is what she said... That's really helpful feedback as I didn't know that my books had been mentioned there! I will have to try and find out who it was that's recommended them and say thank you..... I hope you like the book when it arrives - I know you will love reading what your mum has written down! Kind regards Julie

Was just going to get the parents' one for hubby and I to fill in for Jordan, but I've also ordered one for the inlaws and one for my Dad. Thought I'd better get in quickly before they sold out! Mandy in Somerset :)

What a great idea, thanks for that! I have ordered books for my parents and inlaws, me and my sister, extra Christmas pressies all round! Sent them a mail saying you had recommended them on here - maybe you'll get something extra with all the orders!!

No Tracey I never did find out what they were for. Maybe its just something people do when they visit but it just seemed rather odd as they were not there when we went up but appeared from nowhere..I did try to find anything on teletext and tried to see if there was a local paper on line but found nothing. Another one of lifes little mysterys.lol

Little Lost Robin Cousin. Sorry for going off topic... When i did a search once on here and put Whitby in one of your threads came up... Did you ever find out about the flowers on the 199 steps?

I think they should come with a time capsule so they dont get destroyed.

Deborah, I've just had an email back from Julie at pricelesstreasuresonline In my confirmation she asked where I had heard about the site and could I let her know. I replied and she has just replied back saying she wondered why she was getting such a lot of orders all of a sudden as it was a small new business. I think you should have been on commission! Good that small firms are getting the business. Tracyx
