I have spoken to Summers Parents and she has been to see the consultant who thinks the lump on her arm is nothing to worry about-she's going for an MRI scan after christmas, but the general impression is that he's not unduly worried, he said it's very very rare for a child like her who is so fit and healty to have a cancer. So I am very pleased and her mum and dad can rest now over christmas now and enjoy it as a family. your prayers and thoughts do work so thankyou to everyone. catherine xx |

thankyou Susie- I just pray it's nothing-This time next week I will feel a right stupid woman for getting so upset. I just so feel for her parents who must be going out of their minds. The only thing I know is they did an x-ray and said there was something there a tumour-Luckily her parent have private medical insurance so we will have the results quick. thankyou. catherine xx |

catherine bless her heart i know this may not help but we went through the same thing with my 2nd son when he was 10. he had an enormous lump by his elbow.he used to cry with the pain. the dr thought it was a ganglion so he arranged to have it removed . after the operation the dr came and saw us and told us that he was 99% certqain that it was a cancerous tumour. my legs went to jelly and i sobbed and sobbed. they sent the tumour to the royal marsden in london but they couldnt decide what it was. it eventually ended up in michigan in the usa!!!! it was xmas eve when we eventually got the results. it was cellular fibrous histocytoma. non cancerous but very rare. sending hugs and prayers to summer and her mummy and daddy susie xxxxx |

Thankyou Anne What a kind thought. I am very touched. Thanks for all your messages-Summer is a lovely girl, just like her name suggests-very happy, smiley and friendly and very beautiful. I have asked her mum through floods of tears to let me know how she goes on on Monday. I just so hope it's good news. I know lots of people ask for thoughts and prayers on here and I believe it works. thanks again catherine xx |
