Every time I've seen this thread I've wanted to add to it, but not known what to put! But Gaynor, take comfort in the fact that your lovely Mum was very much loved on here, even by people like me who hadn't even met her, as she had a heart of gold. Even now, when I think back to that day when we were told on here that Mum had passed over, it was a shock to me then and I guess it still hasn't fully sunk in now. So God only knows how it must have been for you. As the others have said, your Mum wouldn't want you to be sad, especially at this time of year. The idea of lighting a candle for her is lovely, I think. God bless you Gaynor, and hope you feel more positive soon hun. x |

Thankyou so much for all your kind words... my heart is close to tears most of the time at the moment although I really am trying to make a go of it and not be maudlin in front of the family. I don't want to spoil Christmas for them. I know Mum is always close by but you all know it's not quite the same as before. However, one thing I will do after reading your replies is that I will light a candle by her photo on Christmas morning. I really need her to know just how much she is loved and missed. ((((((((((((((( Love and hugs ))))))))))))))) to all of you here (you know who you are) who are grieving too.
