Lunar why dont you contact his mum? Just say you are trying to contact old friends ie both of them. Isn't he worth the risk, even if it is just to rekindle your friendship? |

I didhave but not in contact with them either because our youth group was shut down 7 years ago and we all lost touch. Such a shame as he and I were the gule that kept the group going and we were being trained to take over the running of it by my mum (deperty youth leader) and the youth leader (who sadly died 2 months before we were force to close because the governing body wanted a minimum age of 13 yr - we has just 6 kids who were 7 - 11 then me at 16 and him at 17 plus a fiend of his at the time who was 18). right am adding him and one of the girls to FR and we'll see what happens! xx |

Lesley, I've been trying for 2 years! the daff boy is not on FR and not on Electrol roll! and sending a letter via his parents would be a last resort. Only thing I do know is up to 2004 he hasn't married unless he's started using his birth name. I might have to add him to FR as someone I'm looking for. Lunar |

LOL Lunar! You know what I'm going to say don't you? Why don't you track down your old friend sooner rather than later, even if it is just to say hello. I'm not saying that you have to do the other bits like marriage lol Caz, that sounds like a lovely wish. |

Remortgage the house to the hilt.Take the kids anywhere at all in the world they want to go. Spend every second I can with them. Drink loads, eat loads, smoke loads, do a streak at a major sporting event ... erm and that's it i think lolxx |

Hi Lesley am answering this re the original thread title..... I would live, love and laugh at it all. I would go hang gliding, learn to swim, fly again (as only flown once and loved it), have a flying lesson, have a ride in a helicoptor, go ballooning, visit Disneyland with all my kids and grandchildren, likewise trip to Lapland and see Santa, I would write a little book of sayings for my kids to use on the grandchildren (your granny would have said....he he hee), make a video from me, for them to watch when they are feeling low (how very dare they!), tell my children, grandchildren and OH how much I love them every day, hug my grandchildren every day, I'd have easter followed by Halloween, followed by Guy Fawkes night, followed by Christmas, celebrate with a big party for all the birthdays and a big 'do' for our Anniversary..so I don't miss any of the fun stuff...not sure 6mnths is long enought to pack it all in...but I want to go leaving them smiling...oh and I'd buy a special Urn for my Ashes, they have their orders! Nanna-Moo ;-) |
