Flippin' heck, Judith! *says that out of shock* Only the other day I mentioned you to my parents, as the conversation was a mixture of genealogy, Christmas and local events, one of which was by the local Dogs' Trust. I said we'd 'chatted' on GR about the D.T. branches, and wondered how you were getting on. Tessa (their black labrador/collie, a.k.a Miss Blobby due to her girth, lol), sends a sloppy kiss. Just checked - on your family tree magazine online - but it could have been a different person, that was a Shelley.

The last time l know of her (Shelli) putting a message on here was when Ann kindly put a message on about my new grandaughter (thanks again Ann) and Shelli replied to it. Ann have you deleted that?? OOOOOOO I have missed you xxxxxxxxx I am a bit concerned to see you say you paid £15... was lots of threads about the cost of joining genes the other day. butgenes said it was actually only £9.95 AND also on the FAQ page it states the following.... How much does it cost? It is free to register with Genes Reunited. You can build your family tree, use the search facilities to find possible matches to your family name, add notes against relations in your tree, receive emails from other members and view and post on the Message Boards. Also, if you already have experience in researching your family history you can import your GEDCOM file on to your Genes Reunited family tree. If you choose to upgrade to full membership for the current annual fee of £9.95, you will have the ability to contact other members from your search results, link up to view other members' trees when they invite you to do so, post photos on your family tree and add messages to the message boards. So if you paid £15 you need to shout very loudly to admin and ask for the refund. Joy as you can see I am still here, just usually sit quietly and watch tho. I spell my Shelli with an I to be different!!!

Hello you - l'm back from the boozer (bewarned!!!!!). Yep l paid £15.00 - thats what it told me when l clicked on this that and what ever and thats what it charged me - yep l'll have a little word in GC's ear!! l never ever do things the easy way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol I'm not too good at keeping in touch either,but when l saw ur message on Anns thread about my Missy Eva, then l saw a message about Bonnie Jean (from She) l thought thats it l got to give myself an early christmas present (hubby does'nt know yet!!! lol) Plus some lovely messages from other peeps:o))) Who u calling a daft bat??? you must be daft standing out in the cold watching 3 members of your family kick a ball around!! no ur not really l did the same when mine were young/younger. Its great to be back, but l must try really hard not to be on here tooooooo often. l spent months not knowing what on earth was going on on here - Ann kept me informed of anything important bless her. Oh good - it was a different Shelly and not 'our' Shelli .... :-) Ok, now Jude - first thing tomorrow, ask GC / GR for a refund. It turned out that the site staff were doing 'price testing', and you should have been charged just under £10!

Jude just off tobed, but popped back for quick scan of boards..... Price checking is one way Genes describes it... have a look on Tips thread titled Mistake... by Horiato ( I think) will lead you to Your family tree forum which discusses this issue and genes response to it.......there was two threads, one on general and one on tips but of course genes deleted them both!!!!!!
