Neutralise red wine spills with white wine..........waste of wine mind. I believe the peppermint is also supposed to keep cats away. Jacqui

Hanging posters on walls. Use toothpaste it can be easily removed without damaging wallpaper or paints.It does work. Pat

finger or toenail fungus, soak them in Listerene mouthwash, great antiseptic

Old glue marks on glass or plastic? Use vinegar to get it off, no need to scratch and scrape, the acid will soften the glue.

When peeling off labels from an item usually leaves some of the glue. Use furniture polish to remove it. Put the polish on the glue, leave for a while, and it should just wipe off. Baz xx

To bring back the shine to your chrome taps, dip a damp cloth in bicarbonate of soda and rub it into the tap, rinse and voila! Shiny taps!

bicarbonate of soda dissolved in warm water, used to clean vomit or similar stains(fresh), also pet mistakes, help to deodorise the area being treated and shouldn't take colour from carpet/fabric.
