It is very sad the ladies are going, I havent been around long enough to know them but wish them well and hope they will return, The variety of this board is what I feel makes it such fun, Caz xxx

The threads which are really tiresome of late, are the ones which say 'I'm having a wash' 'My cat is going to the toilet' '!'M going to the toilet'. Not one but almost every day. OK I dont bother reading them, I bypass, I ignore... but I do wonder how sad some people are to have to announce every move of their day on the board....every day....continuously. I bet if you put a key word into search, loads of threads appear, all the same or similar, all saying the same thing. As said, I ignore, and add to other threads or add my own. Elaine x

I agree entirely with Len about the stupid inane threads that are put up on the General Board. I have got so fed up with it all that I can't be bothered to read it any longer. I used to look in 3 or 4 times every day, but now only bother about 3 times a week. So come March when my subscription is due for renewal I am not going to bother. Alan

I don't know why others are leaving but I doubt if I will renew when my sub is up in a few months time. The board used to be good and interesting but now when I come on its like sinking in a morass of trivia One is no longer able to tell the subject of a thread from the topic line. Indeed, the more inane the subject, the more obscure the title - almost as if the author has to bait readers into the thread. There are so many of them like that now and it would take half a day to read them. As for the writers who have to report that they have a cold ....or about to go to bed...... Len

I would love to see Lemon and Jess still posting in the summer but if they don't feel able to stay, then who are we to push them. I know Lems said her pride would not let her back down from her decision but I for one wouldn't respect her less if she changed her mind. Que Sara, Liz

Hi Betty, i am afraid Lems wont stay.........she made her mind up a while ago, and it will be GR's loss when her, Jess and others leave. I wouldnt still be here if my son hadnt renewed as a suprise. I would have glady signed if i thought she would stay, good luck. Wendy.xxxx

It's a nice thought Betty but I think they've made their minds up. Maybe one day Lemon and Jess will return, but in the meantime we can still talk to them on the other side Jeanette x

I would also like everyone to stay. Like Elaine says, Jess & Lems are 2 of the best to go. It must be their decision but hopefully they will miss it so much & come back in a few months. Good Luck to everyone who decides to leave. I wish them all a very happy 2007. Hilary. x

I have not said a lot but Elaines reply has prompted me, although it is, I must admit, with a tear in my eye. I always 'gave' here,did look -ups and searches endlessly,day after day after day and took very little,except flack. I have loads more to give - I enjoy giving - just cant 'take' anymore

I dont want ANYONE to leave because of the actions of a few people have spoilt the board and driven them away. I think both Lems and Jess know how well liked they are and how none of us want them to leave, however if they are really unhappy on here and feel they cannot give and receive anything more from this site then their decision sadly may be final. I'm sure there will be a minority who will applaud their leaving in private and im really sad that a few have spoilt the board with such vindictiveness that people feel they have no choice but leave. The board needs good people and it now looks as if we have lost two of them Elaine x

Helloooo Betty Boo l would love them both (have only just realised Jess is going too) to stay as well - but as others have said it has to be their decision. Leaving here is rather like moving away from something/somewhere (abit like leaving home for the first time!!) you have known for a very long time, and where you've had great joy and comfort - BUT sometimes we have to move on! There's nothing to stop them coming back when they are ready and/or peeking in occasionally. Good luck and happyness to both of them and you Betty Boo:o) jude sarf wales x
