I have to add,I actually felt sadness at seeing what was filmed, Yes! believe it or not a little part of me felt sorry for him. But I guess thats part of being human! |

I for one will watch it, but only when I can find it on the net, it's unlikely to ever be shown on British TV. I watched Ken Bigley's death also on the net and was sick to the stomach that an innocent person can be so brutally murdered, like Elaine said, that death and the others I watched in the same situation have stuck with me, but morbid curiosity makes me want to watch Saddam die, he isn't an innocent person by any means and does according to his country deserve to be hanged. Morning Deb I'm waiting for the fallout too. I also wont be watching the execution, the Ken Bigley thing upset me as well, and ive never forgotten that. Execution is barbaric in all forms ...I dont agree or like it despite what the accused people have done. There are other ways to skin a cat so to speak, like very hard labour for a very long time. I can not believe that they showed the hanging. It is unusual for the North American media to show actual footage. I watch CNN in bed every night - I think that I will give it a miss tonight. Things like that (deserved or not) make me sick to my stomach. I didn't sleep for days after the video footage of the hostages including Ken Bigley were shown pleading for their lives. It upset me for months. I don't need anymore nightmares. Deb |
