Hi Meercat and everone, Yes I did the same on Rootchat, went in the chat section, didn't know they could tell I was there but they said hello, I just got out sharpish. By the way does anyknow how i should post an IGI family search lookup on Rootschat, every time I do its deleted due to copyright or something. Betty |

Rootschat is the place to be! When the room is full it is very fast. The people on there are very friendly and willing to do lookups for you.You can often get answers immediately and even find a rellie or two chatting!!! |

The thing I found helpful about Rootschat is that the search boards are organised by county, and often information can be found from people who have local knowledge. This particularly applies to place names, old buildings and streets that have now disappeared. |

Same here Meercat........lol I use the same name thou, but haven't been on it for ages, but when I did, I got some great help re my irish side although it didn't knock down any brick walls. Great people on there so I really dont know why I dont log on more oftern. Suzy :o) x |

Only joined the site a few months ago and boy is it fast! A million peeps coming at you from all directions-LOL....I haven't really been back for a while but I imagine that you can get lots of help on there as it seems like a very friendly place. |

Hi there Rootschat has been wonderful to me and helped me find long lost relatives and a guy in NZ even went to library and found some amazing info for me and lots more. Everyone is so helpful I cant thank them enough. I find this site useful too as some people dont use rootschat or dont know about it. Happy New Year Gay |
