I am so far I have to say - a few little laughs but I think it's turned into the Dawn French show and much as I like her - the other characters helped make it what it always was and I don't think there is enough about them. Is it just me? xx

I am a bit. I was expecting them to spring a surprise on her about the wedding dress and make it all perfect, so I am pretty let down about it. And also, you wouldn't even think Alice and Hugo were married in these Christmas episodes. What happened to all those kids they had?

LOL. Sorry Glenys he was very nice but there was just no chemistry there that I could see. I thought she better suited David Hortons brother they seemed to gel much better. *sighs* maybe I am just an old romantic and hoped she would get back with him lol xx

lol. David Horton is Hugo's (Alice's hubby) Dad - the miserable one who takes control of the parish meetings lololol His brother was the guy out of casualty. TALL very very TALL can't remember his name in real life though xx

Casualty man is Clive Mantle He played Mike Barrett in casualty from 1992-8. They had more fun together - more of a spark - Clive & Dawn

Ah! Thanks, Muffy. That wouldn't be Clive somebody-or-other, would it? He played Mike Barratt in Casualty. He was very tall, and I believe appeared in Dibley.
