Lived in Upton Park for a short while when I was a kid, just off Green Street...don't recognise the place nowadays :-((

Me too! And not just watching my own teams (Man U, Liverpool and Newcastle!! lol) but ALL football...Hate it when the season ends....better than knitting:-) lol BC XX

For the last three years they have had a lot of banter in that shop, usually coming from my OH, especially after last years FA cup final... Best thing is, Alan ran out the back of the shop as he did it, depriving my OH of a comeback lol Yep, I agree, women can be as passionate, if not more at times about footy. I love it!

My OH went to Alan Taylors shop this morning for the milk, (Oh let me explaine, Alan is the winning goal scorer for West Ham in the 1975 FA cup) Alan was singing 'I'm smug, and I know I am' when he walked through the door, with WHU winning thier match and Liverpool out of theirs lol OH was not happy, but Alan has been waiting for a long time for that opportunity HAHA
