Hi Colin, I was fortunate in missing the recent nastiness on here, but how right you are in stating it is partially the fault of those who run the site that it is allowed to escalate. It's a shame that you and others feel the need to step back, after all, this site is for everyone and I feel you should speak on here as you would to someone's face. Mind you, there is the worrying possibility that some people DO speak to others face to face in an aggressive/rude manner!!! Come back soon. Like Teresa, Linda and Norah I am fortunate enough to be able to 'see' you on TYFH, where, when there's the slightest sign of trouble or nastiness, the boss steps in 'Where angels fear to tread', :o))) maggie |

So there is going to be just the one of us then.. .....when I walk to the local to meet my friends I sometimes have to pass evil smelling mess....it gets washed away and is replaced by more evil smelling mess.......but I like visiting my friends so I hold my nose when passing................. There may be other ways but each walks his own path....take care cheers Colin |

Colin, sorry you feel you need to leave for a while as I know so many people seem to have enjoyed your introduce yourself thread and started posting for the first time on there. Like some of the others I'll see you every day on YYFH where peace reigns. GR has some lovely people who far outweigh the ones who seem to delight in trouble making and nastiness and can't see that it's possible to have a debate without resorting to personal abuse. What strange folk they are to think it's good to upset folk and get them banned from the site. I know Colin won't send out his details himself via GR but if anyone want's I'd be happy for you to PM me with you e-mail address and I can pass the messages on to Colin. Daphne |
