I go mad for a while and then have abreak. AT the moment I need to put into some sort of order all the info I have from the last 20 years! I now spend more time chatting to 2nd cousins found than looking for more info. Jacky :-)

Lin in Sussex Report 5 Feb 2007 08:11

I joined GR to try and find a half-brother ( its a long story ) thought my family was very small, but through g.r. have found loads of direct rellies. Hit a brick wall like so many but kept trying and I'm now in touch with a cousin in Canada who was born in India. lol. It gets very complicated but I shall keep at it. My o.h. bought me a FTM for Crimbo so being computer illiterate I am trawling my way through it. Lin x

Maz (the Royal One) in the East End 9256 Report 5 Feb 2007 09:41

Yes, although I had an enforced break when mum was ill over Xmas. I am trying to roughly 'do' f-i-l's side at the moment - for my kids - then I have a ton of info still to input for my own tree, from RO visits last year. I can't get to RO very often, but when I do I have a full day there and get as much stuff as I can written down - takes ages to input it all and follow it through though. I am at the stage now of revisiting each branch in light of the different resources now available - it seems to be working and those brick walls are getting chipped away! Maz. XX
