Some of you may know that I am waiting to go into hospital to have an op on my sholder, well last month I saw the specialist and he said that there was a 3-4 month waiting list, so that would make it about end April, well postie brought a letter, and there has been a canelation and I am to go in 19th of this month, I'm now in panic mode, as I know I won't be able to drive for a few weeks after the op, so I have to try and get every thing done before I go in, and the day after the op is my middle son's birthday, so I have to make sure prezzie and cake are ready before I go in...... headless chicken comes to mind, but it does mean that I can come and play more.... :))) Bev

Thanx folks, it means I can bring my holiday forward now, as they advise you not to fly for a few months after surgery, and with the extra time on my hands I can catch up with you lot, after all the doctor has told me I won't be able to use my arm for a few weeks, now how about that for an excuse for not doing any thing... :)))) Bev

I will be so glad to get it over and done with, the pain keeps me awake at night (that's why I don't come on here much these days), and yesterday I came in from work in absolute agony, I know it will be painful after the op, but at least it will get better. Bev

Help is thin on the ground these days, hubby is recovering from some minor surgery, and oldest son is a bus driver, so he needs his rest as other peoples lives are in his hands when driving, and youngest is at college, but he has said he will do as much as he can when he can, but what don't get done will wait until one of us can do it, I will just walk round with blinkers on so that I can't see the mess...pmsl Bev

Well folks to day was the day, I went in at 8am into theater at 11.30am and home at 3.30pm, op done while I was sleeping, the best way, but they did give me another injection to numb the are so that when the anasetic wears off the pain won't kick in too soon, the down side is that I know I have a right arm, I can see it, but it is like when you go to the dentist and have a numb mouth, but it won't work properly, my arm doesn't work properly, well not at all yet, so I am having to work left handed, and that is so not me....lol no pain yet yippeeeeeee. Bev
