Hi, It has become so widely used in society throughout the western world that I don't personally think most people would regard it as bad language. My elderly mother has used it on a couple of occasions and she has never been known to use any swear words in her life. In Scotland the equivalent word would be 'jobby'. Well it was in our house. It is one word which always had my husband cringing. Imagine someone saying to you 'I've never heard so much jobby in my life'. You'd fall about laughing. Personally I blame it all on Mr Crapper. I dont think so Keith......but I also used twit with an 'a' without knowing it meant anything other than another way of saying twit.... So perhaps if you say crop instead of crap, it might be acceptable???? |

Been thinking about this more Keith (yes I know it's dangerous) I said it doesn't offend me but it would it if were aimed/directed at me. I don't swear publicly but don't tend to mind if others swear (with moderation). However, I don't like people swearing at me. |
