For the second time in as many days, I am having to sit here and comfort my crying wife, because there are some nasty horrible people on this site who think it is BIG to have a go at people, and then run and hide. For the record, the money from the treasure hunt was donated to Strumps site with the full knowledge of the donator that currently the site is not a registered charity. Strump is currently filling out all the paperwork to obtain Charity status, but this will take time. Yes the cheque was cashed, and it is currently in an account earning a bit of interest. The cheque will be returned as outlined by Strump. When are people going to grow up on this site and stop making some peoples lives miserable. I have no idea what it is that my wife has done to be targeted in such a way, but whatever it is she doesn’t deserve to be treated the way she is being. One very disgusted and angry husband.

Please tell Strump not to get upset....that is just what the nasty person who posted on Friday wants. Beryl x

Dave I don't know who Donna has alienated to get the abuse that is throwing around at the moment but tell her from me that if she knows she has done nothing wrong then she should hold her head high!! She will remember allegations made against me when the pink fund was in full flow.... its nasty people's small mindedness and goes to show that they would be dishonest if they were doing the same thing! Keep records strump and then you have nothing to hide or worry about!

Can you persuade Strump not to return it Dave? Her site may not be a registered charity, as yet, but it is helping people and isn't that what charity is about. I was one of the people who took part in Dawn's treasure hunt and I have no problem with the site receiving some of the money that was made from it. Juliexx

Well said Diana, Donna has done nothing wrong at all, and certainly nothing to deserve the abuse she has been victim to in the last few weeks. Someone is out to discredit her, well give up whoever you are, you have failed miserably, probably not for the first time in your pathetic miserable little ugly lives. Go and get some help, cos you really need it, as only someone with mental issues would stoop so low as to put anonymous abuse on the boards anyway.

I have just seen this so I will add what I put on Dawn's thread. Hi Dawn and Donna (and Dave), I asked at that time for the money to go to Donna's support site as I knew there were overheads that were being paid out of Donna's pocket. I knew at the time and still know that the site is not registered as a charity. That in no way makes me want to change my mind about the donation as I feel and I am sure there are many others, that the site is worthwhile and is helping people. So Dawn please stop worrying as you did nothing wrong. You raised money for a good cause and it went to a good cause. Donna will you also stop worrying about it. Jacky x

Thanks guys, Diana, we keep all invoices even though my site is funded by Dave and i. The money so kindly donated was for me to use to help running costs or how i saw fit to help the site. I havent used the money and will be happy (and feel i need to now), return the money, plus interest. I opened my site only to help people and we do. My team and myself receive no pay for our efforts. I am very proud of my site and my team. Donna x ps, we are off to Lancs soon, so if i dont reply, you know why.x

I used to be on this Site for most of my Computer Time, but because of the nastiness going on I moved my Time elsewhere in September. Only popping back here occasionally. As Suggester and Organiser of the first meets it really saddens me to see that sniping and backbiting is still going on. I have met Strump, Mommylonglegs and Pink, and am sure that their Charitable efforts are done because they want to contribute positively to our Society and give the less fortunate the opportunity for a better life. It is a pity that some people on here spend their time doing the opposite. From what I have seen here recently I am even less persuaded to renew my Membership when it runs out in April.

Hi Dave and Donna, as someone else (oops, forgotten who, lol) has said on this thread, Donna don't play into their hands and let them win. You are a truly honourable lady, all your friends here have no doubts about your honesty and integrity at all. I know it's easy for me to say don't get upset, I would too, but then, just remember that you have set up your wonderful site for very worthy reasons. My daughter still thinks it's great that at any time she can contact you if need be; that in itself has helped her considerably. Hugs for you both, have a nice trip. xx

As someone who doesn't know any of you, or any history or politics of this site, can I make a point of saying that it's obvious who on this site is worthy of support and who in turn supports other people, and its obvious who the stirrers are. I rather suspect that the 'stirrers' are bitter, lonely people who are jealous of certain people on this site, and its obvious that they will try and discredit them at any given opportunity. Donna, Dave, Dawn - the people who are classed as your friends know you and understand what you do and will support you. If you let the 'others' get at you, they will feel smug and happy. Hi All I do not generally add to these type of threads but there comes a time when something really does need to be said and for me that time is now. Like Jim and many others I have been around since the very early stages of this site. I have seen jelousy and backstabbing in action both on and off the site and never got involved for fear of upsetting other good people who often support me in what I do. But I am appalled that just how low somethings can get. Ive been there for three years Ive been there, jelousy behind the scenes, constantly putting people down just because they try to do something good for people. Some people just do not know what is good for them, yes there are genuine people out there willing to work our butts off for nothing just to help you. Can you not see beyond your noses sometimes or do you not have a mind of your own to make your own opinions of people. Its disgusting to see grown ups acting in this type of manner. No I dont have to become involved and no i dont have to read the threads thats my perogative to, But for petes sake start to make up your own minds what it is you want, get off the helpful good peoples backs and start to enjoy life again, As I see this, money was raised for a good cause and it is being used on a good cause with the agreement of all involved. hi dave,im one of the lucky people who was able to use donnas site.they all do the work for free as you know,and im so very grateful for all there help. both dawn and donna are lovely kind peeps,and jacky j was kind to donate her winnings to a worthy site.that should be the end of it.if jacky wants the money there then thats great.as for the %&*head who tried to cause upset on friday they win if the money goes back,i say jackys word is final. hugs to you all,luv ya loads,joyxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Dave & Donna I don't know what happened on Friday night, but what I assertain by Dave's thread is you are being ridiculed for what you have achieved, giving support to people who need it. All I know is you, Donna, have provided a fantasic and worthwhile site, and Dave, you support her no end. Why people wish to drag this type of help down is beyond me, I just hope that 'they' never need this type of help, because sometimes, when someone has a problem they can't come face to face with, talking on cyber, ie, no face or eye contact, they can, with your site, express themselves more and not feel condoned or comdemed and they are talking to someone who has been there. Donna, what has happened yet again, is appalling - if those wicked sick people who stir up such nastiness had even a smidgeon of Donna's kindness and compassion for others, they would be lucky, as it is they are sad individuals who obviously have no one to care about them and don't know how to care about others, what goes around, comes around and they will be sad and lonely for always if they don't learn differently. love to you Donna, and all your team, Liz xx
