Loved watching Bonanza cos I liked Michael Landon, Little Joe! He also starred in Highway to Heaven. When I first was in touch with my son's father, (long complicated story but we got together because someone gave him the wrong Liz's address) he sent me a photo and he looked just like Little Joe, he had a curly perm at the time !

Wasn't the manager Sam? The storylines were usually something along the lines of either the Indians or Mexicans attacking the ranch or each other. AL

What was the ranch foreman called? Can anyone remember any of the story lines? Anne

I used to love the High Chaperal when I was a youngster (born in '63). John Cannon owned the ranch, Blue was his son by his first wife, who had died. His second wife was Victoria (Mexican) and Manolito was her brother. Buck was John's brother. Don Sebastian was Victoria and Manolito's father. Used to watch it every Sunday afternoon - had a massive crush on Blue Boy! AL
