Quite a few times but only messing about never beat anyone up or anything. Got the cane for walking over the precious rugby pitch when I was late. Also got locked in a cupboard for instigating winding the teacher up. I gave everyone drawing pins to put on their shoes and when the teacher turned her back we all tapped our feet on the floor, then stopped when she turned round, she found the box in my bag and locked me in her cupboard. Also for playing prefect dodging most break times. Gawd I sound bad, sorry. Jackiex

I never got into trouble at school. Perhaps my 10yr old is making up for it now - he's never out of trouble - he has come home with lines x2 in the past week for being cheeky to his teacher & for using bad language............... what do you do? I'm at my wit's end with him - we've tried everything but have to realise that he is on the special needs register because of his behaviour & make SOME allowances. (He has been assessed as borderline Asperger's & is waiting to be assessed by the family health team at our local surgery.) Ails x

We were in the 6th form and having a talk from a teacher who HATED me (she made me sit next to her in assembly cos I talked so much lol) and she was explaining how you weren't allowed to be sick or to faint in the examination room (!). One of my friends asked me to what she said ... I turned and repeated it to her ... and got sent out in front of everyone!! All my friends thought it was hilarious and still never let me forget it - soooo embarassing at age 18, and it was all Mary's fault - not even mine!!! Maz. XX ps apart from incessant talking (rabbit rabbit) I was a very good girl at school O;-)

They tried that with me Lin but I wouldn't do it, I thought it was uncool to be a prefect, my poor mum was mortified. I was going through a rebellious stage at the time, thank gawd I calmed down lol Jackiex

Gaynor during my rebellious stage I became a goth, so had black hair, black makeup and only wore black, it also was necessary to hate everyone who was living and not a goth, and talk about death alot, Oh the fun we must have had lol Jackiex

Oh that sounds like fun :-s Jackie.... pretty much like being a punk really... it was the rebel values that I sadly went for though - thought it was cooool... oh yeah! and the look on my poor Dad's face face when I had all my hair chopped to half an inch all over, dyed it with cochineal, wore drainpipe pants and safety pins! Luckily I grew up lol Gaynor :-)

Germaine

Germaine Report 13 Mar 2007 10:39

Well one time I got into trouble really sticks in my mind. We were in the library at lunch time a girl ( never got into trouble !!!) pushed a lad in the cupboard and slammed the door on him. I had just got up to change a book and in walked the deputy head. Who got the blame ME!!! no amount of pleading would convince him I wasn't involved and so that afternoon when everyone went out on a trip I had to stay behind . One of my friends accidently on purpose left her beret at home so she couldn't go either ( she hadn't but she wouldn't leave me on my own). More than once this sort of thing happened so is it any wonder if I child says a teacher is picking on them I tend to take the childs side first. Can't say my later school years were happy ones and I still say it wasn't all my fault. No I wasn't an angel but did tend to get blamed for others misdemeanors (spl?) Couldn't get out quick enough. Germaine x
