William Report 15 Mar 2007 19:21

I saw on the news tonight a story about a swan. He had moved his family to a different pond, because they were continually being harrassed. Some little s***t found them again, and the cob was shot dead with an air weapon, trying to defend his family. To say I am incensed is an understatement. How can anyone however thick take any pleasure from killing a completely harmless animal? Its beyond me. A very low Bill

InspectorGreenPen Report 15 Mar 2007 19:39

You are not even allowed to slap wrists these days, in fact there is no proper punishment even if they are caught.

Peter you have just been boasting about spraying cats with a hose on another thread, i dont have cats myself but know that doing that to a cat causes a great deal of stress.

Swans are beautiful creatures - unlike the filthy scum that did that horrendous thing. I hope he/she/they come to a sticky end, and I make no apologies for it. Disgusted. :-(

Roxanne Report 15 Mar 2007 22:09

Some humans are just not worthy to live on our beautiful planet, Infact the planet would be far better off without them. These people are not this way because their disturbed or mentally ill as some would have you believe, their simply evil. swans are beautiful graceful creatures,I can understand how it was trying to protect its family,Just Like any father/mother would protect its young. I can only say how sorry I am to every creature that suffers at the hands of mankind, sometimes Im so very ashamed to be human.

That is so sad William, there seems to be so much cruelty in the world towards animals, and to humans too, the punishment never fits the crime, unfortunately. Trish xx

TaniaNZ

TaniaNZ Report 16 Mar 2007 10:08

Unfortunately Bill we now know that serial killers and other insane psychotic people usually started out by being cruel to animals so it dosent bode well for the world. I once saw a suggestion that children and people charged with cruelty should be registered in a database as it will be useful to catch up with them later. The other thing that is also seen in them apparently is deliberate firelighting It is not a normal childhood phase Regards Tania
