Hi Lindy. I'm fairly new to the boards too!! My name is Aileen but my friends call me Ails. I'm 38, married to OH for almost 16 years with 3 kids aged 12, 10 & 6. I'm a teacher but have been on sick leave since the beginning of the school year (long story). I've met some really nice ladies on the message boards & hope you do too!! Ails x

Hi Lindy, i'm Hazel 64yrs old have 1 daughter and 2 sons 8 grand children ranging from 11yrs to 19 yrs old, dont have any animals at the moment as i live in a flat but hoping to move in the near future and then i'll have a dog, i dont post an awful lot , but do read the threads that i think i'll like. hope you enjoy your self on the boards take care hazelx

Hi Lindy, I'm Tina, 'living in sin' with OH. We have 3 daughters, 22, 15, 14 and twin boys, nearly 21. 2 dogs and 2 rabbits..7 fish. Work in Agriculture full time and am about to move....so won't be about much for the next few weeks. (Huge building project about to start) Will be back though, and hope to get to knoe you better. Hi Lindy and welcome. I am a young 53 :)) and have been married to second OH for 21years. My daughter is expecting her first baby in July and I can not wait, she always said she wanted a baby at 30 and has just made it :))) Have lived over here for 7 years after quitting the rat-race and have no regrets. Have just had four lambs born and I am bottle feeding one ,great fun as he has started pawing me for his bottle and those hooves hurt. Apart from lots of pets, 2 GSDogs, Lab, cats ,goats,sheep,ducks and chickens ,I enjoy card making ,scrapbooking and reading. xx Jil

Hi Lindy I am Jacqui and yes live in Spain, came on hols nearly 3yrs ago now....I still live in my RV on a camp site by the sea. Married to a toy boy for the last 4years. Have 2 dogs both of them rescued out here. Have a great time on the boards. Jac nearly forgot I am ......50 now.........I Think lol

Hi Lindy I am Mary and live in Spain - board name tells you that - sorry - I have been married for nearly 40 years and reach the age of 60 later this year. I have two sons and 2 grandchildren - 1 of each - who I love dearly. Lived in Spain for almost 6 years - moved here for a quieter life . and know something the Spanish are so noisy!!! Have a west highland terrier who we bought to Spain with us - bless her she will be 14 in October. Spend far too much time on this board but I have so many laughs it is well worth it. Hello everyone:o)) Well now l'm 58, married with 2 of the bestes kids, l gran-daughter (who is so precious) and another due in May - yippeeee. Ooops sorry:o)) Love all animals especially dogs,horses,elephants,dolphins and cats.Have a dog called Madoc (it was Mad dog) and Fat cat Jimmy. Used to ride but never any good - infact the last time l rode was about 3 yrs ago, l could'nt get off't the bloomin thing and son has it on video!!! Love arts and crafts, especially American Indian stuff. l make mosaics. My grandfather was Bernard Meninsky an artist. jude sarf wales :o)))

Hi Lindy - nice to meet you :o) I'm Sue and live at Langley Vale,(but you probably guessed that!) which is a small village in the middle of Epsom Downs in Surrey, right by the racecourse where the Derby is run in June each year. I'm 58 and been married for 39 years last month. We have 4 children and 4 grandchildren with another due in June :o))))) I was a registered childminder for over 25 years until youngest grandchild started full time school, and now run occasional creches for a local charity. Also work (very) part time in a local vehicle breakdown and recovery company. Hubby is disabled after a serious motorbike accident 12 years ago, but still manages to get under my feet (along with our younger son who still lives at home). LOL I have 3 elderly cats (after losing 2 in the last 3 months) which hubby puts up with (he's a dog person really!). I love cardmaking and am now knitting cardigans and crocheting a blanket for our new grandchild. Must get on with it or I won't have finished it by the time he arrives :o) Welcome to Genes :o) Sue xx

Hello Lindy (and others). I am Huia as my board name says. I live in New Zealand, where the Huia is an extinct bird. 3 sisters were also given Maori bird names (but our ancestry is all from England, at least as far back as we have gone so far). I am 71, have been married for almost 48 yrs (anniversary on the 21st of this month). We have a son who lives in Rotorua and a daughter who has been married twice, with 3 children. We used to have a dog and cat but they became old and decrepit like us! I love singing in choirs.
