Lou, great to hear that Ty is getting lots of walks, Lab's are very intelligent so i am sure with patience he will get the hang of being 'house-trained'....but cream carpets ....! Rosexx

Glad Ty is being walked and trained and hope he gets the toilet probs sorted soon. I met Jules' fellas black lab Max yesterday, 9 months old and has been well cared for and trained properly from the start, what a lovely dog he is. Hope Ty will be as lucky with his new home and won't blot his copybook too often. Well done Lou, for all your efforts on his behalf. Liz

Yes..I ment his original owner (Not foster one!!) She wanted (probably because of the rollocking i gave her) to ensure he went to a proper home this time, she was upset, but i agreed that she was doing the right thing for him - she just didn't have the time for a dog, he deserved much better than he was getting! TY is settling very well in his new home - having a few 'accidents' on the cream carpets though is not going in his favour! It's all up to him now, i just hope his new mum's patience holds out... He is enjoying three big walks a day, and has even had his first paddle!!!!! Bless him!!!!! LOU XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXxxxxxx

Hi Lou, that's great news. When you mentioned Ty's 'ex-owner', did you mean his Foster Mum? :-) I can't somehow imagine his previous owners being upset at him going to a proper home (not meant sarcastically lol, but you know what I mean). x

Lou, that is such brilliant news, I hope Ty has a long and happy life with those people, and nice to think his ex owner cared a bit about what happened to him, what a shame she wasn't more caring when she let him go to those idiots who ill-treated him. I love it when a plan comes together lol LIz

Still over the moon!!! Ty was scared getting into my car, but settled in the back as i drove him to the stables...His (ex) owner came with me so she could see where he is going....The two lady's adored him and he met his first horse and reacted really well! The mare had her foal (born jan this year) with her and he was really well behaved...They took him for a walk down the fields and instantly loved him.....I am going back next Saturday to visit him (and will of course see him when i take my girlies there anyway..) So, tonigh TY is starting his new life in his forever home :-) There were a few tears from his (Ex) owner- and from me..She was sad to see him go..i was thrilled to bits! I cannot thank you all enough for all the support you gave TY, all the well wishes, fingers crossing etc...It was quite dis-heartening for a while, especially as the threads kept dissapearing *TuT* Anyway, i'll sleep better tonight, knowing there are still some really beautiful careing people out there..God bless you all..xxx LOU XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX Jan - If it was a pic of Asha that you sent he's on there.xxxxx (if that wasn't you i'll have a look tomorrow :-)) Sue- it's the stables off scottie lane :-) - perfect!!!!
