I am serious about this guy who was an advanced driver, he also told me I was driving too slow at one point!!!!! He did however tell me that at the end of the day I was completely in charge, so when he told me to reverse into a parking place in a supermarket car park, on a busy Sunday, in the rain, I drove into the space forwards and asked him to get out of the car ;-)))

Strangely enough Ros, that was another thing they had views on. Having been taught to drive more years ago than I want to admit to, I understood you should indicate when joining and leaving roundabouts, I was told that this is now not necessary ;-((

How are people supposed to know where you are going? I had an accident at a roundabout once --I was about to indicate left at the next junction and a guy from behind thought I was turning at the one I was passing and shot right into my side and pushed me into middle of carriageway - what a hassle we had with insurance. Today when I was parked on the drive, if I lean in to get my bag and position myself wrong I lean on the horn, which is in the middle of the steering wheel!

I always too when I get back from the shop, hoping that hubby will hear and come and help me unload, it doesn't often work though ;-((
