I was 12 and he was 14 and we met under the clock in the bus station. We went to see Zulu at the Ritz. We went out for about 2 months I think. Gwynne |

Lunar, when I was twenty I worked with a young man and we were good friends, on the day i got engaged to my then boyfriend, my friend bought me a bracelet. I realised how much he meant to me but was too stupid to say. I went to his wedding a couple of years later and regreted not saying anything. We lost touch but I found him via FR last year...he is still happily married . I never did get married.... Rosexx |

(giggle) yes, I was 15 and my mum was having a breakdown, because she was terrified of the thought of me having a boyfriend. We had to rush back in case she came out looking for me!!! I left home 18 months after that; Id had enough. |

I did that when I was 14 and have regretted it every day of the 9 years since. I've not even seen him in the past 7 years because the group we belonged to was torn apart. |

Lunar I see what you mean now, very sensible idea , I have had male friends that I might have liked to have as a boyfriend but didn't want to lose them as a friend if it went wrong. Rosexx |

Rose, I don't really care if I get a first date or not even if I do have 60+ years left! I tend to get to know boys as friends before taking things further, hence no first dates. |

Yes I was 14 and we were both at school,he used to cycle behind the school bus and wait till I got off. When he asked for the date he said 'let's go to the pictures, meet you inside'... I was so naive hadn't a clue why Mam called him a cheapskate lol |
