I spoke to Oxford Library today, They have a copy of the book im after. I asked about photocopying and was told how to go about it and that it would cost £10. I am VERY anxious to see the book, so asked if the librarian could read me a passage from it so that I could see if it was written about my g grandfather. Well, she agreed and YES it is about him. I have been searching for 3 years for this book. I am well chuffed!! Pat |

i got a book out the libruary and inside was a picture of my gt gt grand mother and her family took in 1919 |

Thanks all, Theresa, I have to send a cheque, Wait for it to be cashed, then wait for the postie! I have put a thread on Records to see if anyone can copy it for me. I will happily send them the £10 to get it a bit quicker! pat |

Thanks everyone, Its 'The Journal of The Gypsy Lore Society'. Well one of them anyway! It's a magazine thats published a couple of times a year, In the 1940's they did a story about my great grandfather because he had such an amazing life. Im writing my book about him, So it should help me clarify some things about him. Pat |
