They say time heals , but that is'nt true, we just grow another skin. To help us carry on with life, and to conceal the scars within. Eleven years have passed now, since God took you home. I did'nt have time to say goodbye, if only I had known. You never complained of feeling ill, and always had a smile and a grin, You just lay down and went to sleep, and never woke again. I mis you Jimi,though the words dont come close, to express how much I wish you were here. I'll take my flowers and scatter them, as I do on this day , year after year. Within my heart there's a special place, reserved for you alone. And there it will stay till God calls for me, and the angels take me home. I know your with me when Im feeling low, your presence is ever near. I hear your footsteps outside my door, and I know I have nothing to fear. So forgive me today, should I shed a tear, tomorrow I'll be my old self. I sense your laughing at me now, you know your going back on the shelf. love you heaps Jimi,,remember you always love you forever. Your wee sis xxx |

Sally will be thinking of you today, its true as you say,time never heals, we learn to cope with it,and as time passes, its not quite so raw. I know how you feel,I too lost my darling brother, just like that,8 years ago. God Bless Trish xx |

Thanks everyone...just on for a few mins...as we are about to leave to scatter the flowers and say a few words...I hate this feeling that washes over us at times like this...we always start of in this way ...then someone will remember something funny that would be Jimi to a t..and all the good memories come flooding back and we will be in stitches...As he was such a happy person.like the time he found a guy standing on top of a bridge about to jump off..the poor guy said he had nothing left to live for...so Jimi being Jimi..asked him if he wanted a shove..or a pint..the guy looked at him..then he looked down...turned to Jimi and said...I have the feeling that you would give me a shove...so If it's all the same to you..I'll have the pint....the guy lived with Jimi for about a year till he got himself sorted...and is still alive today...now with a new family..job . house and everything to live for..he swears to this day if he had said shove..Jimi would have done it...if that was the only option he had to help him...he also said it was the best pint he ever had...so you see...with a heart like Jimi's..God needed him more ...and took him home... your comments are a real comfort to me.thank you all so much bless you all Sallyxx |
