Just waiting for a carpet fitter to come and measure the back bedroom prior to us getting it decorated in a couple of weeks time. Trying to get the house sorted a bit as we haven't done anything for quite a number of years due to health issues and illness.

This is the last of the bedrooms to be done. Think we might leave the rest of the house until next year.

A lovely sunny day here with a warm breeze.

Elder daughter came and picked me up and we drove to the coast.
Didn't walk far,just sat on a seat chatting and watching the sea and birds, but it was good to breathe some sea air and have a change of scenery.

I remember tuning into this in 2005 when it was first broadcast from Wetlands Centre; which is situated on the disused reservoirs in Barnes. London.

Bill Oddie and Kate Humble were the presenters and the programme received
high viewing figures and very good reviews.

After watching the TV news, this nature programme is like an oasis of calm and serenlty. <3
