Hoping for a warmer day than yesterday, although we did at last get blue sky later in the day.

Got cold waiting for almost an hour at the bus stop, then having to hang around in town waiting for the pharmacy to reopen, after their lunchtime closure :-| :-|

My sister in Florida phones me at 4 pm every Saturday without fail. Yesterday she phoned at 4.30pm and apologised for being late as she had fallen asleep. Don't think she believed me when I said she was 2 days early !! She is 88 and what was a very good memory isn't any more :-S

Another weekend of footie and rugby. I shall have to take up a hobby. Anyone know anything about mending fishing nets? :-D ;-)

Quite warm this morning when I went to Sparkles. :-)

Funny you should mention that Maddie ;-) ;-)

My Welsh grandfather was a seine fisherman and used to mend his own nets. I still

have the thing that he used. Not sure what it’s called.

Anyway my Mother showed me how you created the knots and I made a small string

basket when I was about 7.
Shame I can’t remember how it’s done but I expect Mr google knows
