Our garden bin is collected all year, once a fortnight, except for a short break over Christmas.

Have had notification it will be £61.70 for the coming year :-0

Think ours was around £34 if you applied by a certain date to renew :-)

They started charging us must be 6-7 years back .....very few took them up which meant the local dump was heaving with people so much so that the queue of cars stretched back to a major roundabout which caused havoc :-0 :-0 Others just fly tipped their garden waste :-| I paid think I was one of about half a dozen in our street :-0 :-0

The following year they removed the charge :-0 :-0

'Poor' council has to try to get in cash to replenish the coffers after some expensive decisions, which fell through :-|

Still waiting to see whether a new garden town will be built a few miles from here..... no new hospital of course, so what will waiting lists be like then?

Council tax up by 4.9% too.

They'll get money off us somehow :-(

We’re lucky here re the hospital as funding has been earmarked for a new build.

It's all well and good building new houses but they don't seem to think it through do they Gwyn :-| The hospitals and schools already can't cope :-|

Well we have to pay for all their wage increases expenses and jollies to all the pub and eatery meetings throughout the year….they are all on the take just like Westminster
