You get a text message in Greek followed by one in English here. It started about 4 years ago and the office here was opened then.

We have several biggish villages here and the large motor licence place couldn't cope any longer so they opened a few new offices. We were the lucky village that has got the office here :-D

I've read about the terrible delays at DVLA because workers didn't want to work in the offices.

I had me handbag nicked in 2011 and had to have a new licence issued then. The new licences are renewed every 10 years. I think the old photo licence was valid to 2023 cos my SiL said hers was valid till her 70th birthday more like 15 years :-0 :-D

My paper one was valid until I was 70 ;-) ;-)

I know during the height of the Pandemic the DVLA were drowning in driving licence applications but I think things have got a lot better :-)
