One vaccination venue is only 2 miles from us, but our surgery hub is at a racecourse meaning a 14 mile trip and 2 buses if you don't drive. It is in the most infectious district too.

What bothers me is reports I've heard of people queuing for over an hour to have it as I need knee surgery and can't stand that long. What if it's raining or freezing like today? Has anyone else had to queue?

Maybe that's as the crow flies Ann.

but what will happen to those who are wheelchair bound or those who do not have the mobility to travel to a jab point
will there be homes visits or will we have to wait til later ?

People in that situation here, Maddie, are being done at home. They might have to wait a bit longer but will all get done.

What will happen where you are presumably depends on your local arrangements.

Some people are already being given jabs in their homes - unfortunately it is a scam - (unrepeatable thoughts!!)

A friend of ours sent for a test, did it, sent it off and it came back positive, I think it might not be correct but he felt he should do it that way because Doctors/nhs here aren't helpful at all.

How does he know it isn’t correct?

That is what I think, I would only go by what the NHS said, he is over 80 and hasn't been sent for yet.
