	Oh yes! Poundland sell the toffee ones don't they? I am not sure it is wholly moral and proper to eat them outside the confines of the flea pit though!

	Stop digging Sharron; I hope you have your tin hat on! :-D ;-) I do recall jubblies (even though I got the name wrong). They came out a little too late for me to really get stuck into enjoying them but I have had perhaps a couple. My fave was always a choc ice or one of those very small tubs of ice cream. Sunday afternoon, spiders, choc ices, Richmond Selection, Chocolate Eclairs ...... yuum. :-D

	Sorry. I meant, I didn't think anybody younger than Island would remember them. I think the reference to ju-jubes I saw was in an eighteenth century book.

	When you said 'boo-boos' I thought of bon-bons. :-S Then I saw 'jujubes', and had to look it up! "A recipe for "pate de jujubes" was published in 1709.The recipe called for gum arabic, sugar, and the date-like jujube fruit. In 1853, both "ju ju paste" and "ju ju drops" were sold by confectioners. Later, recipes used various flavorings instead of jujube fruits

	Joy, the orange drink in odd shaped boxes were Jubblies. I think the name was later nicked though - or was that an iced bun or something? :-S

	Never liked jujus/jubes - but I can remember them as jujus or joujous. Surely you jest, Sharron. I think a lot on here will remember them - some of us are ancient! :-D Does anyone recall jubes as in an orange flavoured weirdly-shaped ice block contained in a wax-like cardboard? My younger siblings loved them.
